Solution Architect-Salesforce

Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to drive the design and implementation of enterprise solutions with a strong focus on Salesforce and other integrated applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with business leaders, project managers, and technical teams to architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that meet both current and future business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, integration strategies, and enterprise systems, alongside excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture:

Lead the design and development of comprehensive architectural solutions that align Salesforce with other enterprise systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. 
Translate business requirements into architectural blueprints and technical specifications. 
Architect multi-cloud solutions, integrating Salesforce with other platforms such as ERP, CRM, Marketing Automation, and third-party systems. 
Ensure architecture solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture best practices and governance. 
Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
Provide architectural leadership and strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle to stakeholders, developers, and other project team members. 
Act as a trusted advisor to IT and business teams, helping them leverage Salesforce and associated tools for maximum efficiency and value. 
Integration Management:

Design and manage integration strategies between Salesforce and other enterprise applications (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) using API frameworks, middleware platforms, and integration tools. Ensure data consistency, quality, and security across systems through effective integration architecture. 
Recommend and implement integration technologies and strategies (e.g., REST, SOAP, ETL, ESB, etc.) based on business needs. 
Governance & Standards:

Define and implement governance standards, ensuring compliance with data security, regulatory, and architectural best practices. 
Establish architectural guidelines and design patterns for Salesforce and integrated platforms, including data architecture, security, and infrastructure considerations. 
Conduct periodic architectural reviews and assessments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and evolving technologies. 
Technical Leadership:

Lead solution design sessions and technical workshops to identify optimal solutions to meet business needs. 
Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding development teams through the technical implementation of designed solutions. 
Mentor and coach junior architects, developers, and IT team members on Salesforce architecture best practices and solution design. 
Project Oversight:

Work closely with project managers to ensure architectural alignment and that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. 
Assist in estimating technical resource needs and contributing to project planning and timelines. 
Monitor ongoing project delivery and resolve any architectural challenges or issues that arise during the implementation phase. 
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

Stay current with emerging technologies and innovations within the Salesforce ecosystem and broader IT landscape. 
Recommend new tools, platforms, and frameworks to improve the technical infrastructure and solutions. 
Participate in strategic planning and roadmap sessions to ensure Salesforce architecture aligns with future business goals.

Experience & Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
Advanced certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect are highly preferred. 
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 5 years focused on Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce platforms. 
Proven experience in leading large-scale Salesforce implementations, including integration with other enterprise systems. 
Strong experience in designing enterprise-wide solutions, including data architecture, application architecture, security, and integration design.
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, development tools, and integration capabilities. 
Extensive experience with enterprise integration technologies (MuleSoft, Informatica, Dell Boomi, etc.) and APIs (REST, SOAP). 
Proficiency in architectural frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman, or others. 
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to assess complex business problems and provide well-considered technical solutions. 
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and influencing decision-making processes.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with multi-cloud architecture, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. 
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in the Salesforce ecosystem. 
Prior experience with agile methodologies, including working within agile development teams and Scrum frameworks.
