Key Responsibilities
 

Solution Design & Architecture
 

  • Architect end-to-end solutions integrating AWS services and on-premises technologies.
     
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable technical solutions.
     
  • Ensure optimal performance, high availability, and security for hybrid setups.
     

Cloud Expertise (AWS)
 

  • Design, implement, and manage architectures leveraging AWS services such as:
    • Compute: EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS.
       
    • Storage: S3, EBS, Glacier.
       
    • Networking: VPC, Direct Connect, Load Balancers, Route 53.
       
    • Databases: RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora.
       
    • Security: IAM, KMS, AWS Config, WAF, Shield.
       
    • DevOps: CloudFormation, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline.
       
    • Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, CloudTrail.
       

On-Premises Expertise
 

  • Hands-on experience with on-premises technologies such as:
    • Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V.
       
    • Databases: Oracle, SQL Server.
       
    • Servers & Storage: Windows/Linux servers, SAN/NAS.
       
    • Networking: Firewalls, Switches, Load Balancers.
       

Hybrid Cloud Integration
 

  • Design and implement hybrid environments using tools like AWS Direct Connect and VPN Gateway.
     
  • Enable seamless migration of workloads between on-premises and AWS.
     

Technical Leadership
 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, networking, and application teams, to deliver solutions.
     
  • Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and provide recommendations.
     

Documentation & Compliance
 

  • Create architecture diagrams, deployment plans, and technical documentation.
     
  • Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and industry best practices.
     

Required Skills & Qualifications
 

Experience:
 

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in cloud and on-premises architecture design and implementation.
     

Cloud Expertise:
 

  • Deep understanding of AWS services (certification as an AWS Solution Architect Associate or Professional preferred).
     

On-Premises Knowledge:
 

  • Proficiency in at least two on-premises technologies, such as VMware, Oracle DB, Windows/Linux servers, or traditional networking setups.
     

Tools & Technologies:
 

  • Automation: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
     
  • Monitoring: Nagios, Prometheus.
     
  • Networking: DNS, VPNs, Load Balancers, Firewalls.
     

Soft Skills:
 

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
     
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
     
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
