Solution Architect - Cloud & On-Prem

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with expertise in Cloud (AWS) and at least two on-premises technologies. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions that integrate cloud and on-premises environments seamlessly. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business needs while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture 
Architect end-to-end solutions integrating AWS services and on-premises technologies. 
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable technical solutions. 
Ensure optimal performance, high availability, and security for hybrid setups. 
Cloud Expertise (AWS) 
Design, implement, and manage architectures leveraging AWS services such as: 
Compute: EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS. 
Storage: S3, EBS, Glacier. 
Networking: VPC, Direct Connect, Load Balancers, Route 53. 
Databases: RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora. 
Security: IAM, KMS, AWS Config, WAF, Shield. 
DevOps: CloudFormation, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline. 
Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, CloudTrail. 
On-Premises Expertise 
Hands-on experience with on-premises technologies such as: 
Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V. 
Databases: Oracle, SQL Server. 
Servers & Storage: Windows/Linux servers, SAN/NAS. 
Networking: Firewalls, Switches, Load Balancers. 
Hybrid Cloud Integration 
Design and implement hybrid environments using tools like AWS Direct Connect and VPN Gateway. 
Enable seamless migration of workloads between on-premises and AWS. 
Technical Leadership 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, networking, and application teams, to deliver solutions. 
Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and provide recommendations. 
Documentation & Compliance 
Create architecture diagrams, deployment plans, and technical documentation. 
Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and industry best practices. 
Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 
5-8 years of hands-on experience in cloud and on-premises architecture design and implementation. 
Cloud Expertise: 
Deep understanding of AWS services (certification as an AWS Solution Architect Associate or Professional preferred). 
On-Premises Knowledge: 
Proficiency in at least two on-premises technologies, such as VMware, Oracle DB, Windows/Linux servers, or traditional networking setups. 
Tools & Technologies: 
Automation: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation. 
Monitoring: Nagios, Prometheus. 
Networking: DNS, VPNs, Load Balancers, Firewalls. 
Soft Skills: 
Strong communication and stakeholder management. 
Analytical and problem-solving mindset. 
Ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
