Description

  • Administration support, trouble shooting, resolution of issues of the tool to enable tool upkeep during Business Hours.
  • Perform basic triage for tool related issues.
  • Perform configuration management, general tool management as well as scheduling updates.
  • Coordination with vendors for tool in case of any issue/Ticket. Tune tool parameters, configure alerts and threshold settings.
  • Coordinate with vendor for major upgrade / patches requiring vendor support: (major release include full version upgrades v1 to v2) or significant activity required to implement).
  • Perform Minor upgrade/patches (minor releases include hotfixes \ patches to existing major versions (v1.1.1. to v1.1.2) that do not require significant activity required to implement) maintaining the patching to an n-1 level.
  • Provide reporting with the help of existing monitoring tools.
  • Adding, modifying, and removing devices in tools.
  • Scheduling of downtime and regular/planned maintenance.
  • Coordinate changes related to the tool. Execute periodic maintenance of the monitoring tools environment (configuration management, or integrity and health checks, etc.).
  • Attend and participate in regularly scheduled operations meetings to represent tool specific activities and Incident resolution efforts.
  • Participate in Change Control meetings and represent major upgrade tool changes to the Change Approval Board.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedure () documentation for the tools administration.
  • Provide 9x5 (Mon Fri ) shift coverage
