Responsibilities

  • Understands software development lifecycle
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify requirements
  • Monitor debugging process results
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Handle and mentor a small team of 3 – 4 junior testing members

Requirements

  • E/B.Tech or equivalent
  • Experience in Automation and Manual testing.
  • Experience in Selenium and Manual testing.
  • Experience of REST or Microservices testing.
  • Understanding of BDD/Cucumber frameworks
  • Experience in Database such as RDBMS, NOSQL
  • Understanding of software development and testing life cycle and processes
  • Zeal and drive to take end to end ownership.
