Software Test Engineer

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in manual and automation testing to join our team within 10-15 days. In this role, you will work closely with developers to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include identifying, documenting, and helping resolve defects while ensuring the software meets high standards of functionality, usability, and performance. Key Responsibilities:

 Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.

 Define test strategies for both manual and automated testing.

 Perform functional, usability, regression, and exploratory testing.

 Document and report defects, working with developers to resolve issues.

 Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium etc.

 Ensure automated testing coverage for critical functionalities.

 Set up and maintain test environments.

 Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

 Good knowledge of tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to test application performance under different conditions.

 Good knowledge tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps for defect tracking and progress reporting.

 Suggest improvements in development and testing processes.

 Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends.

 Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and resolve issues promptly.

 Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Experience:

 3-5 years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing.

Technical Skills:

 Proficiency in writing test cases and designing test strategies.

 Hands-on experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.

 Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

 Familiarity with defect tracking and project management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.

 Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

 Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
