Software Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cypress Automation Engineer with strong experience in JavaScript to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation test scripts, ensuring high-quality software releases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve test strategies and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.
Develop and execute end-to-end, regression, and integration tests.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify test requirements.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
Debug test failures and work with developers to resolve issues.
Ensure test automation follows best practices and maintains scalability.
Continuously improve test automation frameworks and strategies.
Document test cases, test results, and automation processes.

Requirements:

Strong experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing.
Proficiency in JavaScript and modern testing libraries.
Experience with automation frameworks and best practices.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API automation.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and testing processes.
