Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of automated testing for multiple applications.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of test strategies.
  • Follow our software development lifecycle.
  • Plan, develop, and execute tests for web-based applications.
  • Develop and maintain test scenarios.
  • Identify, document and track issues found during testing.
  • Advocate for the needs of QA to all levels.

Required Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
  • Hands-on expertise and proven automation skills in JMeter, Java, Load runner.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Understanding of QA concepts, Agile development practices and testing processes.
  • Ability to research & discuss solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity — over time, independently.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and development skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and a customer orientation.
  • Knowledge and interest in collaborative development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, as this person will work in a highly collaborative environment.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with software QA testing web-based applications and SaaS software products.
  • Experience with test automation software and writing automated test scripts (Selenium and/or Sauce Labs are preferred).
  • Experience working with load and performance testing tools.
  • Experience testing .NET web applications is highly preferred.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
