Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an application developer for front-to-back systems supporting Bonds, Credit Derivatives, and IR Derivatives trading.
  • Propose and deliver sustainable solutions for the application, covering business use cases, DevOps, infrastructure, resiliency, and monitoring.
  • Contribute to the adoption of modern tools and improve existing technology stacks and processes.
  • Understand departmental design principles, represent the application in design review forums, and collaborate with IT management and engineering/tooling teams.

Experience Requirement:

  • 12-16  years of experience supporting mission-critical applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud (GCP) setup and infrastructure.
  • Proven expertise in core Java and Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and applied design principles.
  • Prior experience in the development of Valuation Engines and engagement with Quant teams is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Proficient with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and RunDeck.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them in an Agile environment.
