Software Engineering Senior Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL-based applications.
- Troubleshoot and optimize systems running on Stratus fault-tolerant platforms.
- Collaborate on legacy system modernization and integration projects.
Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills:
- 5+ years of COBOL programming experience.
- Strong knowledge of Stratus and VOS operating systems.
- Proficiency in VSAM, CICS, and DB2.
- Experience with high-availability and fault-tolerant systems.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in legacy environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern languages (Java, Python).
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
