Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance mainframe applications using CICS, DB2, COBOL, JCL, and VSAM.
  • Collaborate with other teams to design, implement, and support solutions.
  • Engage in development tasks while ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Utilize knowledge of distributed environments for web services (XML, JSON, JAVA) as needed.
  • Leverage experience in both legacy and distributed systems to contribute to project success.

Experience Required:

  • 4 - 5 years of experience in mainframe development and support.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
  • Exposure to web services and integration technologies such as XML and JSON.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic project environment.
