Software Engineer

Critical
Strong understanding of ETL process
Expert in Microsoft SQL (preferred) or other relational database product + SQL language
Strong experience in Microsoft ETL stack, SSIS, Azure Data factory
Strong experience in modern Big Data technologies, especially Apache Spark, Databricks, etc.
Intermediate level+ experience in Python or similar programming languages
Testing in Big data world
Reliable / Independent, able to take ownership of tasks assigned and deliver good work with minimal required oversight
Exceptional communication skills
Strong understanding of common SDLC practices:
Git SCM
PR based code review
Agile / Scrum
CI / CD pipelines
Experience working collaboratively
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with Azure DevOps
Familiarity with event driven architecture
Familiarity with Unit Testing Frameworks and Principles
Intuitive, able to work with non-technical people to craft requirements from abstract ideas
