Software Engineer

Job Description:

• Design and develop Workday integrations (Inbound/Outbound) using Workday Cloud connector, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Custom Reports, and Workday Studio components like Report as a Service (Raas), Splitters, Sync, A Sync Mediations and Java Hash maps.
• Architect and accountable for overall Workday solution, including functional module implementation, technical touchpoints, and change management (communications and training) as needed.
• Develop Inbound/outbound integrations using Cloud Connector, and Workday Studio, managing business processes, working with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Report Writer, Workday Calculated Fields, XSLT, Java and Custom Reports.
• Support the Workday system in architecting the Workday cloud solution to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross-functional impacts are considered and mitigated.
• Data migration from legacy system to Workday HCM/Financials cloud using iLoads/EIB.
• Test and validate the workday solution during the software development process.
• Deploy the code to the quality assurance environment for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for sign-off.
• Perform Impact, Regression, and system testing to ensure that the developed code works effectively in the production environment.
• Measure the performance of the workday solution to ensure a hassle-free Production environment.
• Use the GIT repository as a primary version control tool for storing developed code and documents.
• Follow the change release process and abide by the defined SLAs.
• Coach clients in the Workday project approach and act as a role model in project systems – testing, validation, issue management, and communication to project leadership.
• Analyze and fix defects found by QA and product owners and work closely with the Quality Assurance Team to close out all open defects.
• Prepare and validate the Technical Design Document, High Level Design document, testing & and debugging document and store it in a project safe repository.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
