Software Engineer

• Develop performance test plans and automated scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Execute performance tests, analyze results, generate performance metrics, and provide recommendations.
• Analyze test and operational issues to determine potential code defects.
• Report errors using structured defect tracking; communicate weekly status to management.
• Review business and system requirements for performance testability.
• Stay updated on testing tools and business knowledge related to the product and organization.
• Collaborate with Functional Testers and Developers for test coverage.
• Work directly with customers to resolve test discrepancies and develop test data.
• Participate in project work groups (reviews, walk-throughs, status meetings, PI Planning).
• Assess system capacity impacts during architecture changes and benchmark performance.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5–8 years experience in performance testing using Tricentis NeoLoad:
  • Scripting, execution, and CI/CD integration.
  • Migration from LoadRunner to NeoLoad.
  • NeoLoad + Selenium integration for end-to-end testing.
• Experience with:
  • OpenText Performance Center / LoadRunner
  • Datadog
  • SQL, PL/SQL
  • Jira
  • Relational DBs: DB2, Oracle, MongoDB
• Strong understanding of:
  • Application/System Monitoring
  • Servers, Networks, Virtualization, Databases
  • SDLC, Agile methodologies, QA lifecycle
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
