Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
Work independently with minimal supervision to deliver quality solutions.
Apply agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD) practices.
Understand and apply business processes, tools, and data-driven decision-making.
Continuously learn new tools and technologies as needed.
Collaborate effectively across teams with strong communication skills.
Technical Skill Requirements:
Core Languages & Frameworks:
JavaScript, Flask, FastAPI, React
Microservices, multi-threading, concurrency, parallel processing
Design patterns & architecture methodologies
Data & Storage:
Experience with Postgres, MySQL, Parquet, MongoDB
Relational and non-relational data structure tools
API & Services:
API development & consumption (REST, JSON, SOAP, XML)
Experience with JDBC, MySQL, SOA patterns
Quadient Expertise:
Minimum 3 years hands-on with Quadient Inspire Designer, Interactive, and ICM
Developing customer communications and managing Tickets in Quadient Interactive to customize user output
DevOps & SDLC:
Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, Subversion
CI/CD tools like Jenkins
Monitoring, logging, and DevSecOps awareness
Security Concepts:
Knowledge of secure coding, web application security
Familiar with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, SSL
Testing:
Experience with unit, interface, and end-user testing (functional & non-functional)
Automated testing frameworks and accessibility standards

Content Rationalization & ADA document compliance
Experience converting from other composition tools to Quadient
Exposure to Design Thinking methodologies
Insurance or financial services industry experience (nice to have)
