Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop technical specifications for mainframe software solutions.
- Analyze and develop COBOL/JCL code according to specifications.
- Conduct reviews of design, code, test plans, and test results.
- Prepare and execute unit test plans, ensuring robust testing coverage.
- Provide post-development support to ensure smooth operation of critical applications.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2)
- Experience in Catalog Operations within mainframe environments
- Hands-on expertise in COBOL programming and JCL scripting
- Ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries in DB2
- Familiarity with CICS transaction processing (Nice-to-Have)
- Knowledge of mainframe system workflows in the Banking & Financial Services domain
Education: B.Tech, B.Tech M.Tech (Dual), M.Tech in Software Engineering, Software Systems, or Software Technology
