Description

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable back-end APIs and microservices.

· Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into efficient back-end solutions.

· Develop and maintain clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using best practices.

· Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity through efficient data modeling and querying techniques.

· Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and applications.

· Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to maintain system uptime and performance.

· Start-to-date with the latest back-end technologies and trends.

 

Additional Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP) is a plus
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is a plus
  • Experience with message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka) is a plus
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Primary Skills: Python (Django preferred), Golang (experience in one is a must)
  • Databases: SQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB (experience with both is a plus)
  • Web Services: RESTful API development experience
  • Testing: Unit testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest)
  • Version Control: Git
  • CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) is a plus
