Software Engineer - Backend

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems for a B2B SaaS platform.
• Build and scale RESTful / GraphQL APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across all backend services.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with a strong focus on performance.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Work in a fast-paced startup environment, owning features from ideation to deployment.

Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in Advanced Java, Core Java, Fullstack Java, and Java
• Experience in building and maintaining backend systems for SaaS applications
• Proficiency in RESTful / GraphQL APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Knowledge of backend system reliability, scalability, and security best practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product, frontend, and data teams
• Strong coding standards with clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Experience in architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices
• Startup mindset: ownership, adaptability, and high accountability

Education:  Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science from a Tier-1 institute (IIT / NIT / BITS only)
