Must Have:

  • Proven experience developing API integrations (RestAPI)
  • ServiceNow Development experience is required
  • Experience with Python (or similar)
  • Any experience developing integrations with ServiceNow and Appito, Fieldglass, SAP, and/or Ariba is strongly preferred


Job Description
Our Client has a contract opportunity for a or a Software Engineer to develop API integrations between financial software and ServiceNow. Candidates should have experience with REST APIs, building solutions in ServiceNow, and be comfortable with doing basic "run " activities with both ServiceNow and Financial software. Experience with scripting languages such as Python preferred.

responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of fellow developers to implement API integrations
  • Fix bugs based on priority defined by your team lead
  • Maintain updates on your active user stories within ServiceNow
  • Build and update flows and modules in ServiceNow
  • Attend daily stand up with your team
  • Perform run activities for our financial software such as fixing formatting, uploading spreadsheets, and promoting data in the environments (Training will be given)
  • Collaborate with our Architect to create solutions to address our challenges
  • Be available on call at times for occasional issues that may arise in our systems


qualifications:

  • REST API development experience
  • Developing integrations with ServiceNow is a big plus
  • Strong ServiceNow development experience is required
  • Experience with Python is preferred
  • Any experience working with financial applications is also required (ideally Appito)
