Snowflake Security Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and enforce Snowflake security best practices (RBAC, masking, encryption, network security).
• Architect secure data sharing, access controls, and data governance models.
• Integrate Snowflake with enterprise security tools (SSO, IAM, SIEM, DLP).
• Monitor and audit Snowflake environments for threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps.
• Collaborate with data engineering, cloud, and security teams to implement secure pipelines and deployments.
• Support regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.) in Snowflake implementations.

 Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture and security features.
• Deep understanding of IAM, role-based access, encryption, and key management.
• Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Knowledge of compliance and data privacy regulations.
• Experience with security monitoring and automation in data platforms.

 Experience:

• 7+ years in data platform or cloud security architecture.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Snowflake security design and administration
