Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines using Snowflake.
  • Architect and manage data warehousing solutions and ETL/ELT processes using tools like DBT, Matillion, Talend, or Informatica.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and BI developers to understand data requirements and translate them into robust data models.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning, clustering, caching, and resource monitoring.
  • Implement and maintain data governance, data security policies, and access controls within Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with DevOps/Cloud teams to provision, monitor, and maintain Snowflake environments.
  • Perform data migration from legacy systems or other cloud data platforms (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery) to Snowflake.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers and act as a technical SME for Snowflake.
  • Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and best practices and evaluate their applicability.  
  • Expertise in data modeling (dimensional, normalized/denormalized), data warehousing concepts, and star/snowflake schemas.                                               
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.                                            
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy (GDPR/CCPA), and security best practices.                                           
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices for data environments.

Any Graduate
