Snowflake Developer

The consultant will be instrumental in supporting a multi-million-dollar infrastructure initiative spanning multiple global regions (NY, London, Asia). The role involves enhancing data warehouse and reporting systems built on Snowflake, Python, and SQL/Oracle technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams and business stakeholders, particularly in regulatory reporting and financial data environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and warehouse solutions using Snowflake and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
• Optimize and manage large-scale data structures supporting regulatory and financial reporting.
• Schedule and monitor data jobs using Control-M.
• Implement CI/CD processes using tools like GitHub Actions, TeamCity, and SDA.
• Conduct code scans and ensure security compliance using tools like Veracode.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake Development.
• 6+ years of Python development experience.
• Strong background in Data Warehousing Design and Kimball Methodologies.
• Experience with Oracle or MS SQL Server databases.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub, TeamCity, SDA.
• Experience with Control-M for batch processing.
• Familiarity with Veracode or similar security scanning tools.
• Background in large-scale database projects
