Sitecore Admin

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver software solutions on the .NET platform, utilizing Sitecore technology.
• Write great code and a strong understanding of the project lifecycle and software development lifecycle.
• Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications.
• Analyze requirements, and maintains, tests and integrates application components.
• Develop, test, debug and document code for custom web based applications and services against the Sitecore CMS platform with a focus on achieving operational efficiencies and business agility through adaptable reusable services and processes.
• Develop functionality across the full stack including database, services, system integration and UI.
• Ensure that applications systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural/development standards and established methodologies and practices.

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Content Management with strong technical hands on knowledge of Sitecore including best practices and features.
• Familiar with Sitecore application setup, front end, back end development, package deployment and admin activities.
• Knowledge/experience with designing and developing on Sitecore MVC, HELIX, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Sitecore on Azure.
• Familiarity with secure coding and unit testing practices.
• Ability to work effectively in an Enterprise Agile and DevOps team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills combined with creative thinking and ability to work on abstract concepts.
• Sitecore Certification preferred.

Required Experience

• 5 to 6 years of development experience on the Sitecore MVC platform.
• 2+ years experience in Sitecore CMS like creating Templates, Layouts, Renderings, Sitecore API, Roles & Authorization, Workflows, Publishing, Deployment, Packages, Subsites, Helix architecture, Multilingual websites, Migration, Scaling etc.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React).
• Hands-on experience managing a Sitecore CMS instances and supporting a team of developers updating the instances.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
