ServiceNow ITOM Architect/Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow ITOM Architect/Developer to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ServiceNow Discovery, including deploying and maintaining Discovery in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud). This role requires strong expertise in developing and implementing new discovery patterns, enhancing existing systems, and architecting ITOM solutions.

Candidates must demonstrate career longevity, with a preference for those with at least 3 years of tenure at previous employers. No contractors will be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and enhance ServiceNow Discovery solutions for hybrid environments, including on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and deploy new discovery patterns while maintaining and optimizing existing ones.
• Lead initial deployment efforts for ServiceNow Discovery, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
• Architect and implement ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, including Service Mapping, CMDB, and SACM (Service Asset and Configuration Management).
• Stay updated with ServiceNow products, features, and updates, particularly related to Discovery, CSDM (Common Service Data Model), and SACM.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable ITOM solutions that align with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in deploying, maintaining, and enhancing ServiceNow Discovery, including initial deployments and hybrid environments.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB.
  • Proficiency in developing new discovery patterns and managing discovery across complex environments.
• Longevity: Demonstrated stability in previous roles, with a minimum of 3 years at each employer preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government) with specific challenges in Discovery and CMDB management.
• Certifications (not mandatory but preferred):
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery
  • Service Mapping
  • AWS or ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
• Equivalent experience or certifications demonstrating proficiency in ServiceNow Discovery and ITOM capabilities
