We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team on a 1-year contract. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives while maintaining platform integrity and scalability. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Design and develop scalable ServiceNow solutions with minimal customization.
- Implement and maintain ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITAM, and custom applications.
- Develop user interfaces, workflows, and integrations with external systems.
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including code reviews and documentation.
- Model data effectively within ServiceNow, with a focus on CSDM (Common Service Data Model).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior developers and team members.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and recommend platform improvements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a software developer.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing in ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of database development concepts and software architecture.
- Proficiency in SDLC models, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across time zones.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CSDM and data modeling in ServiceNow.
- Background in working with ServiceNow partner consultancies and multiple client implementations.
- UI development experience within the ServiceNow platform.
- Familiarity with IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Snowflake integrations.
- Experience in complex network environments and scripting languages such as Python.
- ITIL certification is a plus
