Responsibilities

  • To manage and/or automate repeatable tasks that are manually performed by Server Administration, Network Operations Center and other customer teams.
  • Create ServiceNow views and reports to support process and configuration management workflows.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications.
  • Facilitate rollout of new applications and modules.
  • Configure work flow.
  • Development within ServiceNow utilizing Scripting, System Definition, Business Rules, Menus, UI/Forms, Actions, Content Management, Imports, Transforms, Web Services. Utilize SCRUM SDLC methodology to manage workload.
  • Research, review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of procedures and develops strategies for enhancing these processes in accordance with ITIL best practices to enable continuous improvement. Implements, configures, and administers ServiceNow, enabling ITSM processes.
  • Activities include, but are not limited to, adding and modifying workflows, assisting the data warehouse team, updating ITSM configuration in support of changes. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Need ITIL Certification.
  • Knowledge of Jelly, JEXL, HTML, XML, Bootstrap.
  • Must be able to work independently and as an effective team member.
  • Must be proactive and energitic.

Required Experience

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in the ServiceNow Platform and Proficiency in JavaScript.
  • Healthcare Industry experience would be highly preferred.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and ServiceNow Glide API’s.
  • Previous experience writing policy/procedure regarding ITSM best practices.
  • Previous experience with database reporting tools.
  • Previous experience with Business Process Re-Design Improvement (BPR/I).

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
