Description

  • Work with the development team to design, develop, implement, and maintain test automation framework that serves multiple project needs using ServiceNow Automated Testing Framework and write test scripts using the ServiceNow best practice guidelines
  • Create test scripts from federated development teams for coverage, completeness, and best practice compliance
  • Perform various types of testing including automated, exploratory, load, manual, and performance testing on web services and applications
  • Execute the complete automation test suite on demand or before every major release and communicate the test results to the stakeholders
  • Perform functional QA, support UAT and communicate status, defects, and progress clearly and consistently. Create or update reports with status as needed
  • Participate in sprint planning and work with the delivery team to identify risks/impacts in the system to be tested
  • Coordinate with other stakeholders as required

     

Core Skills:

 

  • Overall 6+years of experience
  • Extensive experience (3+ years) with ServiceNow ATF that includes automation of test cases for the following modules: CMDB, Incident/Problem Management, Service Request/Catalog, Change Management, CSM and IRM
  • Experience in Testing at least couple of ServiceNow implementations including during an upgrade
  • Experience testing in an iterative, continuous integration environment
  • Basic knowledge on Flow Designer / App engine studio
  • 2 or more years of solid, demonstrable experience in one or more programming or scripting languages, preferably JavaScript
  • 2 or more years of solid, demonstrable experience in various types of testing including automated, exploratory, load, and performance testing on web services (SOAP UI) and applications
  • Experience with Selenium and/or Leapwork for automated testing is an advantage
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an agile development environment (i. e., scrum, kanban, etc. )
  • The ideal candidate should have bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of experience
  • Strong ITIL V3 knowledge (Minimum ITIL foundation certification preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced high-performance environment collaborating with multiple teams.
  • Proven ability to maintain a professional demeanor and customer focus when handling complex issues
  • Excellent written communication
  • Certified System Administrator (Good to have)
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certificate is nice to have
