SEO Engineer

We are seeking an experienced SEO Engineer to join our team in New York City. This is a contract role with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud), along with expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to address SEO-related issues.

Responsibilities:
Utilize your expertise in SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) platform to drive SEO improvements.
Optimize and enhance the performance of websites by applying technical SEO practices.
Work on on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
Apply a deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
Familiarity with structured data (Schema Markup), robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and overall site architecture.
Analyze the data layer and track user interactions and content engagement to implement technical SEO optimizations.
Optimize Core Web Vitals and page speed performance for better user experience and rankings.
Apply expertise in canonicalization, hreflang tags, and pagination strategies.
Utilize SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Tealium, and Screaming Frog to analyze data and generate reports.
Implement insights to improve SEO performance and overall site visibility.

Skills & Requirements:
SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) experience is a must.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
Familiarity with structured data (Schema Markup), robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and site architecture.
Ability to analyze and improve Core Web Vitals and page speed performance.
