Description

We are seeking a skilled Sensor Validation/Test Engineer to work on cutting-edge AR/MR and wearable device technologies. This role involves validating analog/digital sensor blocks, such as image sensors, dToF sensors, and ALS sensors, and supporting the development of advanced sensor test systems in the lab. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate next-generation sensor technologies and enhance test methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct validation tests for image sensors and ALS sensors.

Collect and perform statistical analysis on test data, correlating results with performance metrics.

Support debugging, root cause analysis, and problem-solving activities.

Develop new imaging sensor test methodologies for MR/AR and wearable applications.

Collaborate with image sensor engineers, computer vision scientists, optical experts, and sensor architects to evaluate emerging sensor technologies.

Provide high-quality electrical/optical test infrastructure and identify opportunities for improvement.

Must-Have Skills

Proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, or other scripting languages for data collection and analysis.

Experience in electrical and functional validation within a lab environment.

Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as power supplies, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters.

Basic understanding of image sensor operation.

Strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets and present results.

Good-to-Have Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.

3+ years of experience in image sensor validation, including reviewing and authoring validation plans and reports.

Experience with optical test bench setup.

Familiarity with I2C, I3C, C-PHY, D-PHY MIPI protocols
