Senior/Mid-Level Cloud Engineer

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior/Mid-Level Cloud Engineer with a strong background in AWS services, Lambda, EKS, ECS, Terraform and API integration.
• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, implementing automation, and optimizing system performance.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs, streamline processes, and deploy applications in cloud environments.

Essential Job Functions:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure cloud architectures using AWS services such as Lambda, EKS, ECS, and other relevant AWS offerings.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
• Implement security best practices in cloud infrastructure and application deployments.
• Optimize cost and performance of cloud solutions by leveraging AWS services effectively.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements based on performance metrics and usage patterns.
• Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and infrastructure configurations.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively with the team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Software Engineer, or a similar role with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, EKS, ECS, and S3.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Proficient in API integration and designing RESTful APIs for cloud applications.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS).
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, teamwork skills and a problem-solving Gomindset.

Preferred:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
• Familiarity with other AWS services such as CloudWatch, RDS, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with serverless architecture and frameworks.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, Golang or similar languages
