Senior Workday Integration Developer

Job Summary:

The Senior Integration Developer will oversee all phases of the integration lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing and supporting integrations for Workday’s Finance and HR modules using Workday integration technologies. To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess deep expertise in Workday integration technologies, Workday's Implementation methodology, and demonstrate strong collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integration solutions using EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Studio.

Provide support for existing Workday integrations.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues requiring in-depth Workday knowledge.

Develop and maintain integrations across HR domains (Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting) and Financial Management systems.

Coordinate with Barings’ Workday support partners and vendors to ensure deliverables meet timelines and deadlines.

Document all phases of the development lifecycle, including design specifications, test cases, and deployment artifacts.

Develop test cases and perform peer reviews of integration code.

Provide production support, including timely response to issues and incidents.

Ensure compliance with technical best practices, coding standards, and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience with Workday functional areas, including Human Resources, Payroll, and Financials.

5+ years of experience developing Workday integrations, including EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Studio.

5+ years of experience creating Workday custom reports and calculated fields.

Proven experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors.

Strong understanding of Workday security configurations and frameworks.

Experience working in or leading Agile teams.

Experience with PECI (preferred).

Experience with BIRT and Prism Analytics (preferred).

Proficiency in document transformation tools, including XSLT and XPath.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.

Workday Certification is a mandatory requirement
