Senior Windows Engineer/Architect

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Windows Engineer/Architect to join our team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Windows-based infrastructure solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the architecture, provide guidance to junior engineers, and contribute to the overall success of our systems. Key Responsibilities: ? Lead and manage Windows-based infrastructure, including design, deployment, and optimization. ? Oversee server configurations, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments. ? Implement system security measures, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues. ? Ensure systems are compliant with industry best practices and security standards. ? Architect scalable, high-performance solutions using Windows technologies. ? Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system integration and smooth operation. ? Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, conducting code reviews and supporting their development. ? Participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies. ? Ensure system availability, reliability, and performance metrics are consistently met.

Required Skills: ? Strong experience in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. ? Expertise in Windows 2016/2019/2022 environments. Experience in PowerShell scripting, automation, and system orchestration. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid infrastructure. Strong understanding of security protocols and best practices (e.g., NTFS permissions, firewalls, VPNs). Expertise in system architecture, including high availability, disaster recovery, and backups. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Scom). Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
