Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage VMware infrastructure including vSphere, NSX, and Aria Automation.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to streamline infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Integrate VMware solutions with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of virtual environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and secure virtualization solutions.
  • Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Maintain documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and automation scripts.


 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in VMware infrastructure administration.
  • Expertise in vSphere, NSX, vRealize / Aria Automation.
  • Strong proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, Terraform, PowerShell, and Bash.
  • Working knowledge of Windows / Linux Operating Systems
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization concepts.
  • VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
