Senior Test Engineer

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Test Lead to join our team at Gravity. As a Test Lead, you will develop and implement test strategies, lead test automation efforts, and ensure the quality of our AI Super-app through rigorous testing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain detailed documentation, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

Mandatory Skills

Test Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy for Gravity.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with project goals and requirements.
• Define testing milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely completion.

Test Automation:

• Lead efforts to automate testing processes, enhancing efficiency and coverage.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
• Ensure seamless integration of test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.

Team Leadership:

• Conduct rigorous testing of Gravity products, covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Identify and report defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.
• Ensure the quality of releases and contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Generate detailed reports and metrics on testing progress and outcomes for stakeholders.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and align testing efforts.
• Participate in design and code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development process.

Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
