Senior Test Engineer

Job Description:

• Testing of an Infotainment System and responsible for creating test cases from scratch
• Understanding of requirements and system.
• Performing test specifications development, test environment setup, and test execution.
• Conducting defect reporting, test reporting, and status communication.
• Supporting and working with remote teams.
• Interacting with Function Owners, Domain Experts, Test Architects, and the Development teams.
• Supporting Triage, defect prioritization, retesting and defect closure
• Supporting Product Owners with joint test events (customer and suppliers)
• Attending program test events (functional testing)
• Responsible for End-to-End test coverage analysis and enhancements test planning, execution and reporting defect escalation to appropriate teams.
• Conducting Life-cycle test, End to End test and Final confirmation test. 
• Interface between internal customers and software development team on potential issues and enhancements.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies including daily standup, sprint planning, sprint refinement and sprint demo.
• Reviewing and understanding stories related to software fixes and enhancements of automation platform.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field of study.
