Description

Currently, Business Integra Inc is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Test Engineer III/ CNO to join our team in the Hanover, Maryland location.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Perform test and evaluation activities and serve as the primary liaison to the government for supporting contract test requirements.
  • Apply knowledge of test and evaluation concepts to related development and operations activities as needed.
  • Plan and execute performance data collection.
  • Evaluate performance behavior to characterize confidence in performance estimates.
  • Plan testing including collection of data required for analysis.
  • Assess operational and system performance requirements for testability and criticality to frame and prioritize test and evaluation objectives.
  • Where appropriate, apply modeling and simulation techniques.
  • Select and apply scenarios and coordinate user participation as needed.
  • Plan program and event level risk assessments including performance estimation and analysis of operational effectiveness, suitability, and sustainability.
  • Design surveys for evaluation of subject matter expert input and user assessments of performance.
  • Create test and evaluation plans including metrics, scenarios/threads, requirements, evaluation criteria, and readiness assessments.
  • Ensure independence from the solution providers to support objectivity in test evaluations.

 

Basic Qualifications: 

 

  • Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in conducting both component and system integration level testing on complex software products.
  • 10-12 years of test engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience testing large scale systems.
  • Experience developing System Test Plans, Requirements Test Verification Matrices and System Test Cases.
  • Experience working with, configuring, and testing embedded systems.
  • Participation in system test readiness reviews and operation readiness reviews.
  • Knowledge of networks and IP subnets/routing is required. Ability to configure network interfaces, set IP addresses and subnets.
  • Experience creating and configuring Virtual Machines to emulate operational environments.
  • Familiarity with basic VLAN/VPN/NAT concepts.
  • Familiarity with signal analysis tools such as Wireshark.
  • Development experience using Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with the Linux operating system.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment utilizing the Atlassian suite.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

 

  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to perform automated testing.
  • Ability to use MS Office,
  • Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure.
  • Understand CNO development concepts.

 

Security Clearance Requirements: 

 

  • TS/SCI with Full Scoop Polygraph is required.

 

Physical Requirements: 

 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
