Job Summary
IT Convergence is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Manager with a strong background in application development using open-source, Oracle, Microsoft ecosystems. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Middleware administration, experience in Cloud native development, enterprise content management systems, DevOps, and a strong grasp of enterprise architecture principles. Exposure to pre-sales activities is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end software application development projects using open-source, Oracle, and Microsoft technologies.
- Provide strategic leadership and technical guidance across cross-functional development teams.
- Oversee administration, tuning, and deployment of Oracle Fusion Middleware components including WebLogic Server, SOA Suite, and OSB.
- Architect and maintain scalable and secure enterprise applications and integrations.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define application strategies and roadmaps.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities such as solution design, technical proposals, estimations, and client presentations.
- Champion the adoption of best practices in code quality, CI/CD, and DevOps across teams.
- Guide the implementation and management of enterprise content management (ECM) platforms.
- Work closely with enterprise architects to ensure alignment with IT strategy and architecture frameworks.
- Mentor and grow technical talent within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software/application development, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience in:
- Open-source technologies (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Angular/React)
- Oracle stack including Oracle Fusion Middleware, WebLogic Server, and related tools
- Microsoft technologies (.NET, Azure, SharePoint, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware administration and performance tuning.
- Working knowledge of enterprise content management systems (e.g., Oracle WebCenter, Microsoft SharePoint) is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Exposure to pre-sales support, including RFP/RFI responses and client engagements.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and DevOps tools.
Preferred Skills
- Oracle and/or Microsoft technical certifications.
- Experience with API management, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Cloud experience (preferably Oracle Cloud, Azure, or AWS).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
