Description

 

  • Lead end-to-end modernization and migration from MarkLogic to MongoDB for healthcare data systems.
  • Design optimal MongoDB schemas (embedded/normalized) for performance and scalability, especially for healthcare datasets (members, providers, claims).
  • Develop and optimize queries and aggregations using MongoDB Query Language (MQL) and Aggregation Framework.
  • Implement and tune indexes for query performance.
  • Manage MongoDB replication, sharding, and high-availability features.
  • Utilize MongoDB tools (Compass, Atlas, mongodump, mongorestore) with a focus on Atlas.
  • Oversee ETL processes, ensuring data quality, validation, and consistency during migration.
  • Write migration scripts and automation using Python, JavaScript, and Spring Boot; develop within Microservices Architecture.
  • Apply expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud), cloud migration, and data security (PHI, PII, PCI compliance).
  • Leverage knowledge of relational databases (SQL) for effective migration strategies.
  • (Preferred) Experience with MarkLogic databases and XQuery; Kafka design patterns a plus.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to coordinate and deliver migration projects, engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Office-based role required in one of several U.S. locations (Scottsdale, AZ; Hartford, CT; Dallas, TX; or Chicago, IL).
