Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, including infrastructure architecture and data center migration strategies for hybrid cloud environments
  • Configure and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)environments, including host pools, workspaces, and custom image deployment
  • Implement and maintain Azure Synapse SQL Pool solutions, including data loading, security configuration, and performance monitoring
  • Manage Windows Server environments (2016/2022)and coordinate with vendors for administrative tasks
  • Perform DevOps activities using PowerShell and automation tools to optimize server performance
  • Configure and maintain Azure Active Directory hybrid environments using AD Connect
  • Execute ETL and SAS data load processes for healthcare, medical claims, and financial data
  • Work with ETL developers on SSIS package creation and automation
  • Manage Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server environments
  • Configure and maintain Power BI reporting infrastructure
  • Consult with stakeholders on technical requirements and system modifications

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure
  • Strong background in Windows Server administration
  • Expertise in SQL database management and ETL processes
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Knowledge of Azure AVD and Synapse Analytics
  • Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures
  • Background in healthcare data management preferred

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; master's preferred
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification
  • VMware vSphere certification
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in systems administration or engineering
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure
  • Proven experience with Windows Server administration (2016/2022)
  • Knowledge of SQL database management and ETL processes
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools
  • Demonstrated experience with Azure Active Directory and hybrid cloud environments
