Senior System Engineer

Working with an international support team, the Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the daily administration, implementation, performance tuning and recovery procedures for enterprise systems, both on-premises and cloud based.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and optimize enterprise systems (on-premises & cloud-based).
Manage IT infrastructure operations ensuring high availability & performance.
Troubleshoot system issues and lead technical support efforts.
Install, configure, and maintain host operating systems, SAN/NAS, and backup services.
Implement and enforce system security, governance policies, and compliance.
Develop and document system processes for installation, configuration, and recovery.

Required Technical Skills
High Availability (HA) on VMware & Hyper-V
Azure Active Directory or Entra-ID
Windows OS upgrades (2016 to 2022)
Patching with SCCM / SCOM
Shell Scripting
VMware VDI
Azure VDI
