• Provides leadership while working collaboratively to understand and document business needs

• Creates current and future state solution diagrams that effectively align stakeholders and ensure that solutions are aligned across architecture disciplines

• Governs development of solutions

• Develops strategies, roadmaps, standards, templates, and best practices

• Maintains catalogs of key IT assets

• Performs complex architectural assessments independently

• Proactively identifies, evaluates, and recommends improvements

• Works on multiple initiatives simultaneously

• Provides coaching, mentoring and guidance, encourages team interaction, boosts employee motivation, and appreciates team contribution

 

REQUESTED SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred

• 5+ years hands on design and implementation of solutions

• 5+ years of progressive architectural experience

• Experience in one or more of the following is a plus: Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, Livestock, Energy

• Experience in some of the following business processes: process manufacturing, sales and marketing, supply chain planning, inventory management, logistics optimization and distribution, procurement and plant maintenance, food safety and quality assurance, breeding and animal welfare, environmental resource management, finance, etc.

• Experience in working with the business and IT building strategies and roadmaps

• Experience in architectural standardization and governance processes

• Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, …)

• Experience with diverse technologies (Cloud/SaaS/On-premise, VMware, Infor M3, JDE, Node.js, Java, RPG, .Net, iSeries, Informatica, Tableau, Cognos, SQL Server, …)

• Advanced abilities using PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio

• Known reputation for integrity and ethics
