Senior Solution/Enterprise Architect

Job Description:

• Role Overview: Seeking a highly experienced architect with broad technical and business process expertise to support solutioning, standards development, and modernization initiatives across multiple legacy and cloud-based systems. The role requires hands-on involvement in architecture, coding, standards, frameworks, and executive-level discussions. 
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enforce technical standards and frameworks for microservices, SSO, CICD, IAC, and security practices, primarily on Azure. 
  • Lead solution architecture for new projects and enhancements to legacy systems, collaborating with development, QA, and business teams. 
  • Participate in code reviews, write frameworks, and occasionally engage in hands-on coding. 
  • Analyze and drive consolidation/migration of legacy systems (AS400, Synergex/Synergy, Oracle/PLSQL) to a unified cloud platform. 
  • Engage with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and align technical solutions with organizational strategy. 
  • Support vendor and third-party integration discussions and technical evaluations. 
• Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in enterprise and solution architecture, including hands-on development and standards creation. 
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Azure), microservices, event-driven architectures, and containerization. 
  • Experience with legacy system modernization, especially AS400, Synergex/Synergy, and Oracle/PLSQL environments. 
  • Strong communication skills for executive, technical, and business stakeholder engagement. 

• Preferred:
  • Familiarity with large-scale system consolidation and business process alignment across merged organizations.
