The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, and innovative application architectures tailored to client business needs.
This role spans solution design, application management, pre-sales support, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring successful alignment of technology solutions with strategic objectives.
The architect plays a key role in client engagement, sales enablement, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-level and detailed solution architectures based on client requirements and industry standards.
- Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures across cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing enterprise systems and frameworks.
- Provide technical guidance in technology selection, tools, and platforms.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify client needs, define value propositions, and create tailored proposals, RFPs, and SOWs.
- Lead workshops, presentations, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate solution capabilities.
- Manage application lifecycle including deployment, monitoring, optimization, and modernization efforts.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Align with stakeholders to ensure architectural solutions support business strategy.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation.
- Contribute to business development by identifying upsell opportunities and developing reusable solution assets.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, competitive trends, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in application architecture, solution design, or related technical roles.
- 5+ years of client-facing experience in pre-sales or solution selling with a proven track record.
- Strong background in application deployment, optimization, and modernization.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in architecture modeling tools like Enterprise Architect or ArchiMate.
- Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps methodologies, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect, ITIL.
- Experience in publishing whitepapers, presenting at industry events, or contributing to thought leadership.
