Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provision, deliver, and support IT infrastructure including order, build, monitoring, evergreening, patching, and production issue resolution.
  • Manage and operate incident management, change management, process management, IHS and OS patching, and vulnerability mitigation.
  • Build and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure provisioning and application deployment automation.
  • Work extensively with GitHub, Ansible, and Nexus for version control, configuration, and artifact management.
  • Guide the design and setup of Jenkins pipelines aligned with the complete DevOps lifecycle.
  • Implement alerting and monitoring solutions using tools like AppDynamics and BMC Patrol.
  • Write and manage Unix shell scripts to automate operational tasks.
  • Integrate Jenkins pipelines with GitHub and Ansible for seamless automation.
  • Perform basic code scans using tools like Checkmarx.
  • Use JIRA and Confluence for task tracking and documentation.
  • Resolve Git-related issues, including branch conflicts, using Git Bash commands.
  • Understand and modify Maven configurations through pom.xml.
  • Work with REST APIs using tools like Postman; Python knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Understand and write Ansible playbooks for infrastructure automation.

Experience Requirement:

  • 4-6 yeras of experience in infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipeline creation, and DevOps automation.
  • Sound understanding of configuration management using Jenkins and Ansible.
  • Strong monitoring experience with tools like AppDynamics and Stackdriver (GCP).
  • Experience in managing Unix (RHEL) and Windows environments both on-prem and GCP.
  • Skilled in using version control tools (Git/GitHub) and repository management tools (Nexus).
  • Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow for project and ticket management.
  • Experience in deployments using Jenkins and Ansible Tower.
  • Networking knowledge, including DRN, DMZ, iDMZ, Connect:Direct, and sFTP.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
  • Experience working with NAS/SAN and GCS Buckets (GCP).
  • Exposure to ETL tools such as DataStage and GCP Dataflow.
  • Practical experience in release and incident management, production troubleshooting, and ITSA processes.
  • Knowledge of data migration protocols like TCP/sFTP and networking technologies such as Juniper.
