Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters on bare metal and cloud environments.
- Administer Linux servers including RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
- Ensure system uptime through effective patching and security hardening.
- Manage Kubernetes workloads, including pods, networking, and storage within OpenShift.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide support to cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and resolve alerts from various monitoring tools.
- Handle user access, authentication, and security policies.
- Stay updated on containerization and infrastructure trends.
Skills Required:
- Expertise in OpenShift cluster deployment and administration
- Strong Linux system administration skills (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Experience in Kubernetes workload management
- Knowledge of system monitoring, patching, and security hardening
- Familiarity with user access and authentication protocols
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
