Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Required Skills & Experience

• Must Have:
• React
• Typescript
• Very strong front-end skills

○ Know the CSS and semantic HTML to use without looking it up
○ Understand accessibility and ARIA and know how to implement them
○ Experience with design systems

• ○ An eye for good design Strongly
• Strong CSS/SASS skills, especially with USWDS
• Provide own hardware (MacBook) and software including laptop/desktop and webcam
• Should Have:
  • Strong CSS/SASS skills, especially with USWDS

Nice to Have:

• Java/Spring
• Attend all required Sprint Ceremonies and related meetings
• Maintain active communication using Slack, Email and Teams
• Engage with Truss Delivery Management to:
  • Accurately report hours

○ Report work completed on a weekly basis

• Work with Technical product manager, designers, delivery managers, and engineers to:
  • Define tickets in order to accomplish product roadmap goals

○ Commit to scope of work accomplished in 2-week sprints
○ Work transparently and work with team/stakeholders/internal dependents to solve impediments
