Senior Software Engineer

Required Skills & Experience:

15+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on expertise in OCP configuration management and Kubernetes deployments.
Extensive experience with PCF/TAS and OCP in complex, enterprise-level application environments (Java, .NET).
Proven track record of leading migration projects from PCF/TAS to OCP, particularly within the Financial Services Industry.
Strong technical proficiency in cloud technologies, containerization, and DevOps, including hands-on experience with OCP, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development.
In-depth knowledge of migration frameworks/tools such as Konveyor, Move2Kube, and OpenRewrite.
Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Spinnaker, Jenkins, Harness, GitHub Actions, Kaniko, Helm charts, and Calico/Kubernetes Network Policies.
Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor teams, make technical decisions, and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly around platform differences, migration challenges, and containerization.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:

10+ years in software development/architecture.
Experience with Java, .NET, Angular.
Hands-on with TAS and OpenShift.
Understanding of cloud-native architectures.
Load balancing strategies (e.g., RoundRobin, Topology, Canary).
Proven experience in migration approaches for OpenShift and TAS.
CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with tools like Kafka, Redis, NDM, file storage.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
