Senior Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary IT resource for medium-size projects to large-size projects
• Oversees the technologies, tools, and techniques used by the team
• Ensure that development standard, security policies and procedures are adhered to
• Work with the scrum team to get projects developed and implemented
• Provide support and leadership during development sprints across multiple scrum teams
• Provide accurate and timely estimates for tasks
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
• Solve complex problems and/or conduct complex analyses
• Discover root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action plan
• Work with team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in IT field or equivalent experience
• 5 or more years of development and testing experience in Java
• 3 or more years of experience working with relational databases
• 2 or more years working with RESTful services
• 2 or more years of Agile delivery experience
• 1 or more years of Cloud experience
• Preferred Qualifications
• Healthcare Industry experience strongly preferred
• Understanding of Spring Framework, JMS, multi-threading, and XML (XML Beans, JAXP or JAXB) is a plus
• Working experience with one or more of the following Maven, Openshift, Jenkins, Github, and MySQL is a plus
• Knowledge of AngularJS or Angular is a plus
