Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior ServiceNow ITOM (IT Operations Management) Specialist to join our team. This role will involve leading and managing the implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow ITOM modules to optimize IT operations, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and supporting our operational needs.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • ServiceNow ITOM Implementation: Lead the implementation of ITOM modules including Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Orchestration.
     
  • System Integration: Design and execute integrations between ServiceNow ITOM modules and other enterprise systems and applications.
     
  • Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure ITOM modules in ServiceNow as per client requirements, ensuring optimal workflows, processes, and automation.
     
  • Event Management: Implement and configure Event Management solutions, enabling proactive incident and problem detection through automation.
     
  • Discovery and Service Mapping: Set up and configure ServiceNow Discovery to map IT infrastructure and services for better asset management and visibility.
     
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Analyze and resolve ITOM-related issues, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of the ITOM processes.
     
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams (ITSM, Development, Infrastructure) to support ITOM initiatives and resolve complex technical issues.
     
  • Automation: Design and implement automated solutions for IT operations, improving efficiency and reducing manual efforts.
     
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes, configurations, and workflows related to ITOM modules.
     
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior ServiceNow developers and administrators, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
     

Required Skills and Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
     
  • 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow ITOM modules (Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, Orchestration, etc.).
     
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM implementations, integrations, and customizations.
     
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, best practices, and ITIL processes.
     
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript) and the ServiceNow platform.
     
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
     
  • Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing ServiceNow ITOM configurations.
     
  • Ability to work with large datasets and understand complex IT infrastructure.
     
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
     
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
     

Preferred Skills:
 

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - ITOM.
     
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow integrations with third-party tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, etc.
     
  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
     
  • Knowledge of DevOps processes and tools
