Senior Service Delivery Engineer

Job Description:

6+ years’ experience on technical engineering and administration on Commvault 
4+ years’ experience on Networker & Data Domain
Flexible to work in shifts 24x7.
Providing support to the backup infra, daily backups, data recovery and all associated operation task.
Configuring and maintaining backups and performing restores of Unix / Windows / Databases - SQL & Oracle.
Troubleshooting Backup Failures
Experience in installation and configuration of agents / plugins for filesystem and databases. 
SAN and NAS implementation of CommVault e.g., NetApp, EMC-Clarion/Celera. 
Administration and performing Disaster Recovery with CommVault for Windows and UNIX platforms.
Thorough understanding of CommVault policy-drive backup/restore architecture and best practices.
Well versed with configuring and maintaining CommServe, Media Agents and clients, Backup jobs, schedules, retentions.
Experience in CommVault firewall configuration and deployment.
Experience in commvault indexing, Storage policies and replication.
Experience in CommVault upgrades, Service Pack and Hotfix deployment.
Good knowledge in CommVault auditing, command line operations, logging and reporting features.
Competent in configuring Schedules and Schedule Policies for data management and administrative functions including Backup reporting.
Experience in installing/upgrading backup master/media server and client agents.
Knowledge on ITIL framework and awareness to Ticketing Tools
Knowledge on cloud backup solution and integration with Commvault
Knowledge on Azure Backup 
Hands on experience & knowledge on Networker, Data Domain and Dell EMC products
Experience / Knowledge on managing Data Domains / dedupe appliance / Data Domain Virtual edition
